This week I talk to John Rash of Southern Punk Archive, via skype, about his previous bands Heebie Geebies, and Crimson Spectre, his zine, Slave, his documentary, Negro Terror, and his current project documenting southern punk rock, which you know is a subject near and dear to my heart! We also talk about Flipside customer service, talking to Mike Watt, and the pathway to punk rock and how it was often steered by skateboarding, zines, and sometimes the answering machine at the Milestone. We pack a lot of stories and information into a shorter episode to give y'all a little bit of a break!
