This week I sat down with Michael Carpenter, of the upcoming Gastonia, NC music venue, The Rooster! This episode is a little different as it features no music! It's also my first episode that doesn't feature a practicing musician, though I intend to bring you more like this in the future! We start off "talking shop" a little bit as well as discussing the trip to Myrtle Beach to see The Fill Ins and Lilith Rising that we took later that day. Once we get rolling, in addition to talking about his vision for The Rooster, we also talk about Michael's short lived band career, cover songs, the importance of art, Rooster Radio, and the Raise the Roost benefit show being held June 26!
